Steve Clifford

Steve Clifford

President & Chief Executive Officer

Steve Clifford became President & Chief Executive Officer of PBI-Gordon Companies, Inc. and its subsidiaries PBI-Gordon Corporation, Pegasus Laboratories, and Pet-Ag, Inc. in November 2020. Steve joined the PBI-Gordon Board of Directors in 2015, following his retirement from Ernst & Young (EY). He was named PBI-Gordon’s Chief Operating Officer in 2018.

Previously, Steve spent nearly 33 years with EY, including his final 16 years as managing partner of the Kansas City office and a member of EY’s executive committee for the Midwest area.

In addition to his duties at PBI-Gordon, Steve also serves as a director on the board of Ferrellgas Partners (NYSE: FGP), an American supplier of propane, and is as a member of the board of the Archdiocese of Northeast Kansas. He also serves on the finance committee of the Kansas City Symphony and as chair of the finance committee of Church of the Nativity. He is the former chairman of the board of both Cristo Rey High School and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and accounting from Texas Christian University. He has also completed strategic leadership programs at Harvard and Babson College. Steve is a member of both the Kansas and Missouri Society of CPAs, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Andrew Peck

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Peck is Chief Financial Officer of PBI-Gordon Companies, Inc. and its subsidiaries, PBI-Gordon Corporation, Pegasus Laboratories, and Pet-Ag, Inc. He joined the Company in 2016 as CFO and leads Finance, Legal and Risk Management, Payroll, 401(k), and ESOP Administration. Andrew has played a key role in several transformational projects, including the purchase of the Company’s current headquarters building in Shawnee, Kansas.

 

Previously, Andrew was CFO for Health Outcomes Sciences, a private equity backed healthcare software company. He was also Vice President of Finance for private equity backed Willowbrook Partners prior to its sale to publicly traded EZCORP, Inc. Andrew’s career also includes public accounting (tax) as well as management roles in three Fortune 500 companies – Cerner Corp., Williams Companies, and AMR Corp.

Andrew graduated from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor degree of science in finance. An athlete on the ORU baseball team, Andrew was an NCAA Division I Academic All-American. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Kansas. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Sara O'Dowd

Vice President of Human Resources

Sara O’Dowd is Vice President of Human Resources for PBI-Gordon Companies, Inc. and its subsidiaries PBI-Gordon Corporation, Pegasus Laboratories, and Pet-Ag, Inc. She also serves on the company’s Executive Leadership Team. She joined the PBI-Gordon team in December 2017.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, and benefits management, Sara was most recently vice president of human resources at Silpada Designs, and also served as the human resources executive for Smart Warehousing. Other notable stops in her career include HR positions with YRC Freight and BassPro.

Sara earned a bachelor’s degree in human development at Kansas State University and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. A champion of the community, she’s a supporter of Harvesters, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Salvation Army.

Rick Blomquist

Rick Blomquist

Vice President of Corporate Development

Rick Blomquist is Vice President of Corporate Development for PBI-Gordon Companies, Inc. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Pet-Ag, Inc., a subsidiary of PBI-Gordon Companies.

Rick joined the organization in June 2012 to lead the creation of the company’s over-the-counter animal health business unit. In 2013, he led the PBI-Gordon acquisition of Pet-Ag, the animal health industry’s leading neonate nutrition business. The acquisition laid the foundation for the new Pet-Ag business unit, and its subsequent growth has made Pet-Ag a leader in the animal health industry.

Rick has vast experience in both the companion animal and equine markets from a 29-year career with Farnam Companies where he served as president and CEO. He was also president of Consumer Branded Products for the Central Life Sciences division of Central Garden and Pet. Throughout his nearly three-decades with Farnam Companies, Rick led many of the company’s new product and business development initiatives and added numerous industry leading brands to their portfolio.

Rick earned a bachelor’s degree of science in business administration from the W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University.

 Neil Cleveland

Senior Vice President and General Manager, PBI-Gordon Corporation

Neil Cleveland is Vice President and General Manager of PBI-Gordon Corporation, a subsidiary of PBI-Gordon Companies, Inc. Neil joined PBI-Gordon in 2018 following his retirement from the Bayer Corporation.

Neil spent 25 years with Bayer in various senior and executive management roles. Most recently, he served as director of commercial operations for the northern sales region for Bayer CropScience. In that role, he led the sales team and was responsible for development and implementation of the marketing strategy. He was also a major contributor to the organization’s US-based commercial operations leadership team. Neil initially joined Bayer in 1993 as a senior sales representative focused on turf, ornamental and pest control products.Neil also has a strong connection and experience with the commercial lawn care industry. He launched his career with ChemLawn Services, spending 12 years with the company in increasing leadership roles.

Neil is a graduate of Delaware Valley College of Science & Agriculture with a bachelor degree of science in agronomy. He currently serves on the board of directors of RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment).

Vice President & General Manager of Pet-Ag, Inc

Vincent Biroscak serves as Vice President & General Manager of Pet-Ag, Inc. He joined PBI-Gordon Companies in August 2023, bringing exceptional cross-functional knowledge and expertise to the team in the Companion Animal Health and Human Supplements Categories.

Vincent began his career in accounting with Arthur Andersen, where he spent eight years and earned his CPA before making a career change into marketing. In 2000, he joined Nestlé Purina PetCare in St Louis, where he spent nearly twenty years leading iconic brands in the pet food category, including Friskies, Fancy Feast, and Purina Cat Chow, as well as Purina’s veterinary therapeutic nutrition business. In 2020, Vincent moved into the human nutrition space as Vice President of Marketing for Glanbia Performance Nutrition, where he led the performance nutrition portfolio that included protein powders, bars, and energy drinks. Prior to joining PBI-Gordon Companies, Vincent worked as a strategic marketing consultant across a wide range of consumer packaged goods organizations.

Vincent earned his MBA from the University of Michigan, and his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and works out of Pet-Ag headquarters in Hampshire, IL.

Dave Taylor

Dave Taylor

Vice President and General Manager of Pegasus Laboratories

Dave Taylor joined PBI-Gordon Companies as Vice President and General Manager of Pegasus Laboratories in June 2022.
Dave joined Pegasus from Borregaard ASA, where he led all commercial feed activities for the Americas. Dave also spent nearly a decade with Nutreco Canada/Trouw Nutrition USA in various leadership positions ultimately overseeing all operations and sales functions for the dairy feed business.

Originally from Canada, Dave is a permanent resident of the U.S. He earned his MBA from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, his Post-Graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca College, and his bachelor’s degree from Trent University.
