BK 800
Brush Killer
Recommendations
For controlling brush and broadleaf weeds along roadsides, in fencerows, firebreaks, airports, military establishments, utility and railroad rights-of-way, industrial sites and other non-crop areas. |
A low-volatile ester Trimec herbicide complex, a combination of active ingredients widely respected for effective control of hard-to-kill brush and broadleaf weeds. BK 800 is highly regarded not only for its effectiveness in controlling unwanted vegetation without risk to desirable cool season grasses when used as a foliar spray, but also for its cost-effectiveness. And because of the high degree of cool season turfgrass tolerance, treated areas need not be stripped of erosion protection.
BK 800 knock-out punch can be delivered via the method and timing that works best for you, including dormant season applications. It can be mixed with oil for making low profile applications using back pack sprayers. Or you may use a spray gun and spray individual stems or stumps, or stubs that have been bush-hogged. Mixed with water it may be applied as a foliar spot treatment. Or you can apply as a broadcast spray, particularly where broadleaf weeds are your major target, or where maintaining turf grasses is a key objective.
BK 800 may be tank-mixed with other approved IVM products such as Embark® 2-S IVM or Stronghold™ Plant Growth Regulator. Tank mixed with Garlon® 4 Herbicide and properly applied, near perfect control can be expected.
