A stable, non-corrosive formulation of a copper- ethylenediamine complex specifically blended for use as an aquatic herbicide. PondMaster can be used in golf course, ornamental, fish and fire ponds, as well as potable water reservoirs, fresh water lakes and fish hatcheries.
PondMaster Aquatic Herbicide provides effective control of many aquatic weed species, including American pond-weed (Potamogeton nodusus), Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata) and Brazilian Elodea (Egeria densa). PondMaster’s effectiveness is based on rapid uptake into plant tissues; applications should be made when weeds are healthy and actively growing. Necrosis should occur within five days, and significant dropout can be expected within four weeks.
PondMaster treated lakes and ponds are available immediately for irrigation of greens, tees, fairways and other fine turf sites, as well as ornamental plants. PondMaster treated water can also be used without interruption for fishing, swimming and watering for wildlife. - Relatively low fish toxicity.
