For the suppression of yellow nutsedge, control of certain grassy weeds, such as crabgrass and foxtail, and control of most troublesome broadleaf weeds species in established cool-season turf areas. Use sites include golf courses, lawns, cemeteries, public parks, sports turf, sod farms and other sites.

Post-emergence control of crabgrass, yellow nutsedge, plus broadleaf weeds - FAST!

A patented product containing four (4) active ingredients: Quinclorac + Sulfentrazone + 2,4-D + Dicamba. Turf specialist favor a pre-mixed combination that can be applied with ease for nearly all their weed problems.

University data and cooperator tests have demonstrated consistently enhanced speed compared to other water-based products in controlling labeled weeds. Q4 contains quinclorac, which controls grassy weeds such as crabgrass and foxtail. Quinclorac is absorbed by both the leave and roots and translocated throughout the plant. The effects on grassy weeds include stunting, gradual reddening and yellowing followed by plant death.

Q4 also contains sulfentrazone, adding fast-acting yellow nutsedge control as a bonus. Formulated with precise ratios of 2,4-D and dicamba, the weed spectrum is broadened. The combination of these ingradients results in systemic and contact activity with multiple modes of action.

Q4 has dramatically less discoloration on cool-season turf compared to MSMA. A definite plus for turf managers is the enhanced speed of the protox inhibitor. When you use Q4, your clients and members will see fast results, usually within 24 to 48 hours, reducing call backs.

Q4 is highly selective on cool-season turf grasses. Labeled species include bluegrasses, ryegrass, tall fescues, and bermudagrass. Q4 has a CAUTION signal word, a good toxicological profile, is rain-fast in 6 hours and has a 4 week reseeding interval.
